Mr Jean-Baptiste Rambourg

Mr Jean-Baptiste Rambourg, from France will be speaking on this topic. He has a technical degree in Biology and began his career as a Laboratory technician in charge of troubleshooting processes and quality control.

Mr Rambourg has been working for Bio-Rad Quality Systems Division (QSD) for 15 years - first as the QSD IT Product Specialist, then QSD Emerging Market Product Manager and now EMEA QSD Product Manager. During these years, he was one of the instrumental individuals in the creation of solutions aiding labs in meeting the requirements of ISO 15189. This QC data management software – Unity Real Time – is an inter-laboratory program that helps laboratories to meet various regulatory and accreditation requirements. Since every reported test result may impact a patient’s prognosis, diagnosis or treatment, the generation of high-quality results must be a primary objective.

Mr Rambourg is a renowned global speaker and key opinion leader in the subject of Quality Control protocols. He is focused on education to laboratories and Blood banks and has developed QC training materials, based on the core fundamentals of QC theory and practice, to allow the certification of laboratories employees.
